The unknown male presenter paid the adolescent more than 35,000 pounds ($67,177 AUD) over three years for the photographs, according to the mother of the young person, who was referenced by the British publication in their article.

The teen's mother revealed to the media that their son had used the money to support a crack cocaine habit.

Additionally, she claimed to have seen a photo of the presenter "sitting on a sofa in his house in his pants" on her child's phone.

It appeared as though he was "getting ready for my child to perform for him," according to what she was told was "a picture from some kind of video call," she claimed.

The host was not immediately removed off the air after the family's May 19 complaint to the broadcaster, according to The Sun. 

According to the publication, the family did not ask for compensation for their story.

The allegations have been 'rubbished' by the young person.

In an unexpected turn of events, the teen's attorney claimed that nothing improper or illegal occurred and that the accusations were "rubbish."

For the avoidance of doubt, nothing improper or illegal has occurred between our client and the BBC celebrity, and the charges reported in The Sun newspaper are "rubbish," the young person wrote in a letter that was reported by BBC News At Six on Tuesday.

The teenager allegedly told The Sun on Friday night that there was "no truth to it" before the publication published the story, according to the legal representation.

According to the lawyer, the "inappropriate article" was still placed on the first page.

The BBC is in contact with the police, doing its own investigations, and speaking with the young person's family.

The Sun's spokeswoman stated: "We have covered a story about two very concerned parents who complained to the BBC about a presenter's behaviour and their child's welfare. The BBC did not respond to their complaint.

"We've seen proof that backs up their worries. The BBC must immediately conduct a thorough investigation.

In order to determine whether there was evidence of a criminal offence, police are investigating the situation.

Davie claimed the fresh evidence released by The Sun on July 6 "clearly related to potential criminal activity" despite not having spoken to the broadcaster directly.

The male presenter allegedly sent threatening messages to a second person, who was in their early 20s, according to a recent BBC investigation.

A second young person, unrelated to the first, contacted BBC News and claimed that the presenter had approached them on a dating app.

The person, who had never met the presenter, received hostile and vulgar messages when they intimated online that they might divulge his identity, according to the BBC.

According to BBC News, it was confirmed that the messages were sent from the presenter's phone.

It said that neither the presenter nor his attorney had responded to the most recent charges.
